We'll start the day with a short hike in the Turona Archaeological and Naturalistic Park. We're located a short distance from the town of Bolsena, in the Volsini Mountains. The approximately 6 km hike passes waterfalls, streams (Turona and Arlena), and typical Umbrian and Lazio hillside landscapes. We'll walk along ancient stretches of the Via Francigena and the Via Cassia, making a circular route back to the cars.

From here, we'll quickly reach the dog beach near the town of Montefiascone for a refreshing swim.

We'll end our day with a stroll through the town center, where we'll take a short tour of the village streets to the panoramic terrace and the Rocca dei Papi, which overlooks the lake and the islands of Bisentina and Martana. We'll also visit the Basilica of San Flaviano, a Romanesque-Gothic example of medieval architecture.
