A picturesque coastal route between Marina di San Nicola and Ladispoli, it's become a must-do at the end of the season!
We'll begin our circular route by walking along the Palo nature reserve's pedestrian/bike path, then enter the prehistoric forest towards the sea. We'll pass the old Palo train station and the entrances to the sumptuous Odescalchi villas. From there, we'll follow a long stretch along the shore, passing over rocks and long stretches of sand.
The coastline here is rugged, with raised paths on the beach offering spectacular views of the sea and the landscape. We'll pass beneath the fishermen's houses, the original turn-of-the-century town of Ladispoli, and amid the waves, the ruins of the ancient port of Alsium will be visible, an Etruscan city among the most influential on the Tyrrhenian Sea, along with Pyrgi. We'll admire the charm of Odescalchi Castle and the star-studded Posta Vecchia resort from the beach, where we'll make a long stop for a sunset swim.
Pizza party all together where we parked the cars at "La vecchia stazione"“
